On Sunday November 23 Magdalena will be awarded the precious Handel prize in the German city of Halle. Since 1993 the G. F. Händel award has been granted within the famous Händel Festival to the artists who excellently advocate for global dissemination and transfer of reference and works by G. F. Händel. It is an honorary award in the form of a diploma and a handmade ceramic golden badge with a motif of sheet music from Häandel's Messiah.
Magdalena will be forwarded the 2013 award at the end of her gala concert in Halle, which will take place in the beautiful Ulrichskirche where she will perform with the ensemble La Cetra Basel conducted by Andrea Marcon. Being awarded the Handel prize Magdalena will be ranked among leading artists such as Cecilia Bartoli, Christopher Hogwood, Jordi Savall, Paul Goodwin, Emma Kirkby, Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Jean Claude Malgoire, Marc Minkowski and many other outstanding personalities.
