Within Dvořák Prague Festival

A vital part of Magdalena Kožená’s work centers on her Foundation. For the past ten years, the Foundation has supported the unique Czech network of primary arts schools, which give attention and guidance to children and young people with an interest in the arts. Through her Foundation, the world-renowned mezzo-soprano also supports exceptionally talented young musicians who are on the threshold of a promising career or who have already taken their first significant steps on their musical journey.

At this concert, Magdalena Kožená will present four such singers - Emma Balunová, Amálie Motošická, Dominik Ubránek and Theodor Šimáček. She has chosen artists whose talent, abilities and dedication she truly believes in and whom she supports through her Foundation out of genuine artistic and personal conviction. Come and enjoy the fresh energy of four gifted performers – and who knows? You may well be hearing some of tomorrow’s international vocal stars.
