Magdalena will open her new concert season at La Cité Bleue in Geneva, symbolically on the International Day of Peace on 21 September - she will perform as one of dozens of artists in an extraordinary charity concert called Together for Humanity, organised in response to the worsening situation in Israel and the Gaza Strip.

Music festivals belong to summer. Magdalena is returning to a pair of festivals whose audiences are eagerly awaiting her concerts: in her native Brno she will be closing the 29th year of the IMF Concentus Moraviae, of which she is the patron. In Verbier, Switzerland, audiences can look forward to her not only in a song recital, but also in Mahler's magnificent Symphony No. 3. more
Alcina: Enchanting return to Handel
New Pentatone´s recording of Alcina starring Magdalena in the title role is now available worldwide: "To perform a major Handel role with period instruments does not happen every day. Live from Prague! Czech Philharmonic, Sir Simon Rattle and Magdalena join the celebrations of the Freedom & Democracy Day ans the 33rd anniversary of the Velvet Revolution. For the occasion, Magdalena and Sir Rattle as the Czech Phil season’s artists-in-residence have chosen songs by Maurice Ravel and Béla Bartók and the final symphony of Gustav Mahler—a hymn celebrating life and humanity.
