Magdalena has accepted an invitation from the respected Dvořák Prague Festival to become this year’s artist-in-residence. The festival has thus recognised her artistic authority, international reputation and the breadth of her interpretative range, which lend the residency programme exceptional significance and are naturally reflected in the various formats of the festival’s concerts. more

We will enjoy Magdalena from many perspectives in the year 2026: in the opera roles of Gold-Stripe the Fox, Mélisande and Ariodante, as the star of vocal recitals, and with the Vienna Philharmonic, the Philharmonic Orchestra of French Radio, and the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. more

The laureates of the Antonín Dvořák Award 2025 for outstanding contributions to Czech classical music are Magdalena and Sir Simon Rattle. This Sunday evening, the Award will be presented at a Prague Gala concert where their family and friends honour them in performance. Veronika Eberle on violin, Brett Dean on viola, Clemens Hagen on cello, Sacha Rattle on clarinet, Marco Postinghel on bassoon, Carsten Carey Duffin on French horn and Adam Honzírek on double bass - all are renowned virtuosos on their instruments and, as a special project septet, they will perform Dvořák's charming Bagatelles and Beethoven's famous Septet in E-flat major for Magdalena and Simon. more
